We are grateful to all who attended our Annual General Meeting last month. It is a privilege to report on the growth of the Hub and prove our resilience in the community landscape. What an incredible milestone to reach 10 years together! For the fourth year in a row, we have collaborated with Holding Space Aotearoa to ring in the Māori New Year with a open mic night and community meal. We had our biggest turnout this year with around 80 guests. It is such an honour that so many people chose to spend the evening with us. The theme for this years celebration is Matariki Herenga Waka. Gribblehirst Hub is proud to be the newest member of Environment Hubs Aotearoa ! We've always had community at our heart, with sustainable and environmental practices being a natural part of our activities and offerings. We were early adopters of the repair cafe movement, follow organic gardening principles, and support monthly vegan meals for the community.
